The study is an essential factor of life irrespective of age, color, and nation. It is a rule of life that you must give exams on everything you learn. An examination is a process by which you can understand and examine your studies and learning capability. To succeed in this regard, a student should study hard and give his best in the exam, and afterward, he should recite dua for exam. As dua makes things easy peasy and is a source to send our wishes to Allah Almighty.

Dua For Exam Success

Dua is the route path to Allah’s greatness and blessings. It is essential because it generates a link between Allah and His person. So he can confidently ask for help from Allah rather than asking from anyone else. For believers, it is necessary to pray before Allah for any success in this world or hereafter.

Students make dua for exam widely, believing praying leads to success after hard work and struggle. There are many duas to pray for success in exams. But the central aspect to consider here is that dua is only fruitful when you struggle hard and give your best. You cannot pass only based on dua.

Allah has given many duas to pray for success in any difficulty of life. Here are some of the critical prayers.

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ. (سورۃ البقرة : 32)

Urdu translation: آپ ہی کی ذات پاک ہے جوکچھ علم آپ نے ہمیں دیا ہے اس کے سوا ہم کچھ نہیں جانتے ۔ حقیقت میں علم و حکمت کے مالک تو صرف آپ ہیں.

English translation: Glory be to you. We do not know anything except the knowledge that you have given us. In reality, you are the only possessor of knowledge and wisdom.

Students should perform this dua for exam success. Allah has promised to help those who believe in His Almighty and seek His help.

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (سورة الفاتحه (۴)

Urdu translation: ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں۔ اور ہم تجھ سے مدد مانگتے ہیں۔

English translation: You alone we worship, and upon You, we call for help.

Dua Before Studying:

Some students may understand the topic lately, so they need more concentration, time, and devotion. But Allah never leaves His people in their hard times. This dua before studying, will help overcome the obstacles faced while learning.

وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ [البقرة:282]

Urdu translation: ترجمہ : اور دیکھو کہ وہ تمہیں کسی مفید باتیں سکھاتا ہے۔ اور اللہ ہر چیز سے باخبر ہے۔

English translation: And see that He teaches you some valuable things. And Allah knows everything.

This dua will benefit you if you recite it repeatedly before the study. This is a very effective dua before studying and will help students learn quickly.

ربی ذدنی علماء

Urdu translation: اے اللہ میرے علم میں اضافہ فرما.

English translation: Oh, Allah! Increase mine in knowledge.

Dua for Ease of Exam:

After studying effortlessly, everyone wants the exam to be easy to reduce the chances of failure. For this reason, bend down towards Allah and ask for His help. It is a very efficient dua before exam to achieve massive success.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهَلًا وَاَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا.

Urdu translation: اے اللہ! کوئی کام آسان نہیں مگر جسے تو آسان کر دے اور جب تو چاہے تو تم کو آسان فرما دے

English translation: O, Allah! No task is easy, but He makes it easy for you, and when you want, He makes it easy for you.

He recites a hadith of Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) often to ask Allah for help. Hence, it will surely be a surprising dua for exam success.

Dua to Start The Exam:

To start the exam, recite Bismillah and pray for divine blessings.

فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ اللهُ هُوَ الَّذِي أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصْرِهِ وَبِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ. (سورۃ انفال آیت (62)

Urdu translation: تو بے شک تجھے اللہ ہی کافی ہے۔ وہی ہے جس نے تجھے اپنی مدد کے ساتھ اور مومنوں کے ساتھ قوت بخشی۔

English translation: Indeed Allah is sufficient for you. It is He who gave you strength with His help and with the believers.

Allah accepts His people’s sincere prayers and fulfills their needs and prayers. Hence, Allah will definitely accept dua for exam.

رَبِّ اَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَجْعَلُ لِي مِلَّدُنْكَ سُلْطَنَّا نَصِيرًاه

Urdu translation: اے میرے رب مجھے حق کے دروازے میں داخل فرما اور مجھے حق کے راستے سے نکال دے اور مجھے اپنی بادشاہی عطا فرما.

English translation: O my Lord, cause me to enter the entrance of truth, bring me forth from the exit of fact, and grant me Your kingdom as a supporter of authority.

Dua During The Exam:

When you forget something in the exam, darood pak is the best dua before studying to recite, and Allah makes it easy to remember. It is the shortest darood.

اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمْ

Urdu translation: اے اللہ ہمارے آقا محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم اور ان کی آل پر درود و سلام نازل فرما۔

English translation: O Allah, send prayers and peace upon Our Master Muhammad and his Family.

For Success:

After the exam, leave everything on the wish of Allah Almighty and pray for His blessings. This is a beautiful dua for exam success.

وَاُفَوِّضُ اَمۡرِىۡۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بَصِيۡرٌۢ بِالۡعِبَادِ. (سورۃ غافر:44)

Urdu translation: اور میں اپنا معاملہ اللہ کے سپرد کرتا ہوں، بیشک اللہ بندوں کو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے.

English translation: And I entrust my affairs to Allah; indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of his servants.

The first step to succeeding in the exam is to study hard with complete devotion and concentration. You can only succeed with great ambition and working for the dream. حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ العَظِيمِ

Urdu translation: مجھے اللہ ہی کافی ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اسی پر میں بھروسہ رکھتا ہوں اور وہ بڑے تخت کا مالک ہے.

English translation: Allah alone is sufficient for me; there is no god but Him, whom I trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

So work hard and then wait for Allah to get the reward for your hard work.
